Privacy Policy

How Bordy handles your information.

Effective September 15, 2026. This policy covers Bordy at heybordy.com and its companion applications. Bordy is operated by JWilliams & Associates LLC, a J&J Diversified Holdings company.

Information you provide

We process account details such as your name and email address; messages and replies; images and files you submit; preferences; and information you provide in support or privacy requests. Do not submit information you lack permission to share.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, deliver answers and research, maintain conversation history, enable collaboration, personalize the service when enabled, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service. Optional memory and connected features may use relevant information from prior interactions. Memory can be incomplete or inaccurate.

Processing and service providers

To deliver the requested functionality, relevant messages, files, and search queries may be transmitted to service providers supporting response generation, search, infrastructure, communications, and other enabled functions. Processing may occur outside your country. This service is not an exclusively on-device or offline system. Contact us with questions about processing arrangements before submitting confidential or regulated information.

Shared conversations and transfers

People included in shared conversations, rooms, or channels can access material made available there. Transferring a conversation gives the recipient its history and context. Removing an item from your sidebar is not the same as deleting all stored records. Shared or transferred records may also remain associated with other participants or operational history.

Device permissions and operational records

Microphone access is requested for enabled voice functions. Files are selected through your device's picker. You can control permissions in device settings. The service may retain IP addresses, timestamps, account activity, usage records, and diagnostic information for security, operations, and support. Authentication uses cookies or applicable native session mechanisms. Companion apps require network access.

Retention and deletion

Conversation history, personal memory, uploaded files, and operational records are separate data categories. Retention varies by record type, account or organization configuration, and operational or legal requirements. Deleting a conversation may not immediately remove backups, shared copies, or separately stored memory. We do not promise a fixed deletion deadline or backup expiry in this policy.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data through the deletion request page. We verify account ownership before taking action and review associated memories, files, and collaboration records. Any retention exceptions and expected handling time will be explained during that process. Requests can also be sent to [email protected].

Your choices

Use available account and memory controls to review or change preferences. Decline optional permissions you do not wish to grant. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. Organization-managed accounts may also be subject to your organization's policies.

Security and access

We use HTTPS for communication with Bordy and apply access controls. Authorized administrators may access operational or account information to operate the service and investigate issues. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share passwords or reset codes in chat or support messages.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as features and practices change. The effective date identifies this version. Privacy contact: [email protected]; 719.243.6571. JWilliams & Associates LLC.
